During your stay take time to relax and enjoy our beautifully landscaped gardens. With a variety of distinct areas, there is great potential for outdoor functions from picnics to garden parties and weddings. Read on for a brief tour of the gardens.
"Walk from the formal manicured park at the front of the chateau down the path towards the pond. On the way the charming chess garden, nestled behind an ancient stone wall is covered with blooming hydrangea. Here you will find a quiet corner to sip a cappuccino or iced tea.
Follow the path to the curved oriental bridge, just hovering over the gentle cascade of water on its way to the Mayenne,
and into view will come a scene of oriental tranquility, a small island resting peacefully in the middle of the pond. A perfect place for contemplation.
As you cross over the bridge a new sense emerges of a wild wood Untouched, but for the adventure of exploration.
Beyond is a pasture along which crawls the lazy meanderings of the petite riviere.

At the very edge of the property is our own secret garden, a charming allee enclosed by wood on all sides, and in season is carpeted with an abundance of white and lavender cyclamen. After taking a moment to reflect take the double staircase up to the badminton court and through the kitchen garden back to the manoir."
